| Name: | Rukia Kuchiki |
|---|
Character: Kuchiki, Rukia.
Character Age: 16.
Portrayed By: Rachael Leigh cook. (Her hair is brown in some pictures but I can always edit~)
Race/Ethnicity: White.
Sexuality: She doesn’t show interest in relationships but if you’d ask, she’d say “straight”.
Canon Power(s): Rukia weilds a zanpakutō, which is named "Sode no Shirayuki".
With the phrase "first dance, white moon" (some no mai, tsukishiro), Rukia can create a circle of influence around her intended target and freeze everything within the circle from the ground upwards until it reaches the sky. With the command "next dance, white ripple" (tsugi no mai, hakuren), Rukia can perform a directed version of the first attack, creating a massive wave of ice a considerable distance in front of her.
It's the most "beautiful" sword in all of soul society and that's pretty badass.
At the beginning of the series, Rukia had a glove that allowed her to separate Ichigo's soul from his body.
Modified Power: An elite member of SOLDIER who strives to prove herself. Given an anti-syn glove for her weapon. The glove syphons her syn energy, and changes their polarity, into her hand. She can then blast that energy outward into the body of her target, counteracting their own syn energy and temporarily rending them powerless.

Association: Shinra Incorporated / SOLDIER
History: Rukia grew up as an orphan in Nova Scotia, Canada. She didn't know much about her family other than her older sister had dropped her off at the orphanage when she was a baby. As a child at the orphanage, Rukia was out-going, friendly, and somewhat tomboyish. The kids got along with her easily.
Rukia started drawing at a young age. Right after she learnt how to hold objects. She wasn't able to make the greatest drawings but she got better over time. Not that much better, but better none the less.
Every now and then, a volunteer would visit the orphanage and read stories or give out treats to the children. There was one specific volunteer that would visit regularly, way more than the others. On the odd day, she would bring her husband, a Canadian peacemaker, who all the children adored. He was a friendly man who always had a big goofy grin on his face. He taught the children about the importance of protecting those who can't protect themselves. He would tell stories about his adventures across the seas and how he changed many lives. Rukia looked up to this man, he was her hero. She wanted to be strong like him. She suddenly found herself getting nervous whenever she was around him, she didn't know why. She also started to envy his wife, her beauty, her grace. Again, she had no idea why. She still loved her like family, though.
The man seemed to love teasing the children and teased Rukia the most since she was always trying to avoid him. He'd ruffle her hair, pat her on the head, make remarks about her height and even do the 'I'm not touching you' bit. Rukia knew she should've despised this man, but the more and more he teased her, the more and more she enjoyed his company. She was attached.
Rukia tried not to cry when he told her that he was going to be shipped over seas. She blinked back the tears and remembered that he was only a peacemaker, not a soldier. He wouldn't be armed but he would be safe. Wherever he's going, the people there didn't have a reason to murder him. She nodded and gave him a tight hug before she said her good-byes.
Ever since he left, his wife would visit the orphanage everyday. Instead of being her usual, happy-go-lucky self, she was distant, sad. Rukia could tell that she missed her husband. She missed him, too.
It was a shock to all the children when the peacemaker’s wife suddenly stopped visiting. Rukia became even more depressed. The children noticed this but Rukia would tell them not to worry and tried to act like her usual self.
A week later, the peacemaker’s wife came back, her face wet from crying. Before she spoke, she wiped the tears away with the sleeve of her jacket, smearing her eye make-up. She informed the children that her husband had been killed in Africa.
Rukia was thirteen years old when a man named Byakuya adopted her. She didn't want to leave her only friends but she knew she had to in order to move on with her life. Her whole thirteen years were revolved around the orphanage. She needed to leave so she could experience real life and explore the world.
Soon after adoption, she discovered that she was a hollow. A SOLDIER member in Byakuya's family recommended her to join the SOLDIER organization. After learning more about SOLDIER, she became a candidate for SOLDIER soon afterwards. She got special treatment when it came to the immense training she received. This was because she was now high-class and a member of an important family. She didn't enjoy being treated differently. But she promised herself that she would become stronger no matter what. She'd do it for her old friend, thefreshmaker peacemaker.
